Jeffrey C. Pellet - Florida Umpire and Property Damage Appraiser

Jeffrey C. Pellet is a Florida property damage appraiser and umpire. He serves on an appraisal panel that renders decisions when two impartial appraisers cannot agree on a settlement. As a neutral third party or umpire, he works with insurance agencies and carriers to collect relevant estimates, photos, and expert reports and review supporting documentation. Moreover, Jeffrey C. Pellet has maintained certification as a Windstorm Umpire for two decades and has appeared before the Florida Windstorm Association as a presenter and panelist.

Previously, Mr. Pellet served as a claims adjuster with various independent and staff insurance companies throughout the 1980s. From 1990 to 2001, he served as senior vice president and structural damage estimator with Dixon Contracting in South Carolina. Mr. Pellet oversaw residential and commercial estimating related to insurance damages across all perils. He also has experience as a State Farm Adjuster who reviewed damages claims in the aftermath of Hurricane Hugo.
